The Jump

An off-centered shot, forgot to on the flash... Don't know why I like this piece, maybe it's the frozen motion... ISO 50, f/5.6, 1/500 sec.

Awana Kijal Trip

Went to Awana Kijal with some classmates and photo kakis. I will not mention ISO speeds, aperture and shutter speeds in this post. Click on pic to enlarge.

(FRIDAY) Expected direction of sunrise. This would be perfect without the clouds. [Bkt Panaroma]

Photo kakis - (From left) Harrison with Canon PowerShot S1 IS, Kar Kit with Pentax Optio 330GS, Soon Chiat with Sony CyberShot T1, Jun Yuen with Nikon D50 with kit lens, under the blue jacket, shielding his D50 from the rain. Did you realise that all the cameras are Japan branded?

The two kakis shooting each other after knowing that no sunrise was found. (The fog is real)
I missed the other events later that day as I didn't charge the camera battery... (New lesson learnt)

(FRIDAY night) The Aero Concepts crew went to the sea side and found stars aboveour heads. Harrison set up the tripod for his camera and aimed at some stars, somebody told me the pics are not statisfying...

This is my try... (The sky is too bright that night)

And we saw "sunset", it was actually light from a town. I used a torch light to light up the tower in front, the flash is not powerful enough...

(SATURDAY) Sunrise was blocked by clouds again...

Then we played some balls at the pool, in the afternoon...

We enjoyed a boat ride in the evening...

(SUNDAY) In Search of Sunrise crew resting on the beach, waiting for our beloved sun to rise...

This shot is taken with a exposed, processed film covering my lens...

What happened after this was not captured, my battery went dead.
..
I missed all events in the evening....

My battery came back fully charged at night... We made fire by the sea side, but it can't last for more than a few minutes...

Later that night, we rested at the beach, watching meteors... The met
eors are just too dim for my camera, I captured none.

(MONDAY)Sunrise is AGAIN blocked by the clouds...

We waited... When the sun came out of the clouds, we took quite a lot of shots.

Someone said this looks a little like Jay Chou...

We then enjoyed some drinks on the way back to KL...

Dilemma

I took some shots today but I have problem selecting the nicest shot to be posted on DeviantART. Both of the photos display the ecstacy of Canon. I need you to help me select the best shot. The first shot: f/2.8, 1/125sec. The second shot: f/2.8, 1/100sec. I'm not sure with the ISO. (Click on pic to enlarge.)

The Squirrel

Ah Loong

No money ar? Why find Ah Loongs? You can't return the money and they decorate your house with dollar($) signs... Then you repaint your house white again... I wonder how you gonna sell your house later... ISO 50(maybe), f/4, 1/125sec.

Abstract

That day, i was in Berjaya Times Square and i spot a nice view of KL. I quickly turn on the little compact camera, set it to long exposure mode, and let off the shutter. Because i do not have a tripod, the camera shake is visible. Then i try to play with lights. This shot turned out to be better than the others but i think that i had overdone it a little... ISO 400(i think so, can't remamber), f/2.8, 2.0sec.

Black and White

I see no colour in the piano keys. But using the frequency that it produces, it colours the world with its own unique spectrum. ISO 400, f/2.8, 1/40 sec.

Capturing Speed Is Never Easy w/o a Tripod

I'm using a Canon Digital IXUS 40, i don't have a tripod. Today, i challenged myself and i filled my memory card with blurred shots. This is the best shot. ISO 50, f/2.8, 1/2 sec.
